Use the guide well
What matters before the feature list.
These field notes explain the product, workflow, and tradeoffs that can change the decision.
Field noteWho Region Route Desk is for
Region Route Desk is an independent guide for marketers, agencies and small-store owners whose site serves more than one country or U.S. state. It asks how to send visitors to the right version, show local currency or a region-only notice such as an EU-only cookie banner, and keep search rankings intact, and it asks what each route costs. Everything is read from vendor pages, help articles, documentation and search guidance, dated October 30, 2026. Start with the Geo Targetly review or go straight to the country redirect steps.
Field noteWhere Geo Targetly fits and where it does not
Geo Targetly applies location rules from a dashboard through one script, with redirects, content swaps, currency display, blocking and region-specific cookie banners in every plan. It meters pageviews, which the pricing guide turns into a traffic check, and Geo Targetly vs If-So sets it beside a WordPress plugin that meters geo sessions. A site with separate country URLs and hreflang tags may need no redirect at all.
Field noteGive each country its own page first
Google's documentation recommends separate URLs for each country or language version, connected with hreflang, and warns against redirecting by a guessed language. The redirect guide puts a country selector and a temporary redirect after those steps, and the WordPress plugin guide compares four plugins and the no-plugin options.
Field noteHow these pages are sourced
Plan facts come from each vendor's own pages and are dated, because plans, quotas and rules change. Where a vendor page is silent or its pages disagree, the guide says so. Vendor accuracy figures and feature claims are labeled as the vendors' own claims, and any paid link to a vendor is disclosed, as the FTC's endorsement guides expect for material connections. Prices stay on the vendors' live pages and are not repeated here. This is not legal advice, and what a banner, redirect or block must do under a privacy or sales law is a question for a qualified professional.
